Blue Whale Splash

while painting this little whale, I kept wondering what the ocean would look like if sea creatures had their own Christmas celebrations. The idea of a gentle blue whale proudly wearing a Santa hat felt so natural and joyful to me, as if the hat was made just for its big, friendly head.
